A community recipe platform built around discovery, contribution and a clear cooking experience.
The Challenge
The goal was to turn a recipe collection into a functional community product. The experience needed to remain simple for browsing while also supporting accounts, recipe creation, structured ingredients and secure data handling.
The Approach
The project combines an editorial visual system with a practical application structure. Public recipe discovery stays lightweight, while authenticated users receive dedicated tools for creating, editing and managing their own content.
Selected Features
Published recipes can be discovered through a shared catalogue with categories and search.
Ingredient quantities, units and names are stored separately to support better search and portion scaling.
Registration, login and recipe ownership rules keep personal content protected.
The interface adapts across desktop, tablet and smartphone layouts with light and dark presentation states.
