Website Access & Server Data

When you access this website, the web server and hosting infrastructure necessarily process technical information required to deliver the requested pages and maintain the security and stability of the website.

This may include the IP address, date and time of access, requested page or file, browser and operating-system information, user-agent data and, where transmitted by your browser, the referring page.

These technical data are used for website delivery, system security, troubleshooting and the prevention of misuse. JH Studio does not use server logs to build visitor profiles or for advertising purposes.

Contact Form & Project Enquiries

If you contact JH Studio through the website, the form processes the information you enter in order to understand and respond to your enquiry.

The required fields are your name, email address and message. Company or brand name and project type are optional.

Contact-form submissions are sent by email to JH Studio. They are not written to a separate contact-form database on the website.

Enquiry data are used to answer your message, assess a potential project and, where relevant, prepare or maintain a business relationship. If an enquiry does not lead to a project, the related correspondence is generally deleted within 12 months after the last substantive contact. If a project or contractual relationship follows, data may be retained for the duration of that relationship and for any applicable legal retention obligations.

Google Fonts

JH Studio currently uses Google Fonts to display the typefaces Cormorant Garamond and Inter. When a page is opened, your browser requests the required font stylesheet and font files directly from Google servers.

According to Google, these HTTP requests include the visitor's IP address, the requested Google URL and HTTP-header information such as browser and operating system details and the referring webpage.

Google states that the Google Fonts Web API does not set or log cookies and that information collected through Google Fonts is not used to create end-user profiles or to deliver targeted advertising.

The service is provided by Google. Because Google LLC is based in the United States, data may be processed in the United States. Google states that it participates in the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for the transfer of personal data from Switzerland.

Cookies, Analytics & Tracking

JH Studio does not currently use Google Analytics, Matomo, advertising pixels, behavioural analytics or marketing cookies on this portfolio website.

The website therefore does not currently require a marketing or analytics cookie consent banner. If tracking technologies, analytics services or optional third-party embeds are added in the future, this Privacy Policy and the website's consent mechanisms will be reviewed before those tools are put into use.

Service Providers & Disclosure

Personal data are not sold. Data are only made available where this is necessary for operating the website, delivering an enquiry, fulfilling a project or complying with a legal obligation.

Relevant recipients may therefore include the website hosting provider, email infrastructure used to receive and manage correspondence, and Google in connection with the Google Fonts integration described above.

The website is intended to be delivered over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. Despite appropriate safeguards, no transmission of information over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
