More than a city directory.
The project needed to present many different places without feeling like a directory. The experience had to help visitors move quickly between landmarks, museums, culture, food and outdoor locations.

Designing for visual discovery.
Basel Guide uses strong imagery, category-based discovery and lightweight interactions to turn city information into a more editorial browsing experience. Search, favourites and detail interactions are handled directly in the frontend.
